We assist with the drafting of design contracts, advise on architects’ copyright, and represent clients in disputes concerning copyright infringement relating to designs.
And software licences: We assist with the creation and protection of websites, advise on the protection of rights online, and represent clients before arbitration tribunals in disputes concerning domain name rights. We draft licence agreements for the use of computer software, and prepare and review contracts relating to the trading of such rights.
We review advertising materials (including those relating to medical devices and medicinal products) to ensure they comply with the law, advise on marketing matters and draft advertising contracts.
We represent clients in disputes concerning infringements of intellectual property rights, including rights to architectural designs and computer software.
We organise training courses on copyright law and provide advice on its practical application.
My name is Piotr Konopka and I am a solicitor specialising in intellectual property law. I have gained experience in this field, amongst other things, by representing clients in court and arbitration proceedings concerning infringements of intellectual property rights relating to architectural designs, computer programmes and internet domain names. I have been involved in negotiating and reviewing agreements for the transfer of copyright, the granting and transfer of licence rights, as well as settlements aimed at the amicable resolution of disputes arising from infringements of creators’ rights.
